§ 52-111. Enumeration.

(a)

There are hereby established rates or charges for the use of and for the service supplied by the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the village, which rates or charges shall be established from time to time by the president and board of trustees of the village. The rates shall provide for minimum rate charges or actual water consumption.

(b)

Any single family residential/condominium/townhome property owner who shall qualify as a "senior citizen", defined as 65 years of age and older, or a property owner who is totally disabled (verified by United States Social Security Department) shall not be subject to the minimum billing charge. To qualify for the "senior citizen" discount, the applicant must be the legal owner and reside in the property. The senior citizen must submit an application in person annually by June 30 ^th . The refuse fee shall be as set by the president and board of trustees of the village from time to time.

(c)

Maintenance of sewer and water connections. It shall be the responsibility of all property owners to maintain in good order and repair, at their own expense, any and all sewer or water connections from their property to the sanitary sewer lateral or water main.
