§ 38-76. Location.

  • (a)

    Height and area limitations. It shall be unlawful to erect any ground sign whose total height is greater than 24 feet above the level of the street upon which the sign faces, or above the adjoining ground level if such ground level is above the street level. No ground sign shall have a surface or facing exceeding 200 square feet.

    (b)

    Space between sign and other signs and structures. No ground sign shall be nearer than 500 feet from any other ground sign or lot zoned for or used for residential or multiple family use. Additionally, no ground sign shall be nearer than two feet from any other building or structure.

    (c)

    Traffic confusion. All ground signs shall conform to the provisions regarding traffic of section 38-10(b).
