This section shall be applicable to all hearings conducted by the planning and zoning
board under this division to the extent they are not in conflict with state law or
specific requirements of this article or other ordinances of the village. These rules
apply to all public hearing participants who are the petitioner, objectors, witnesses,
and attorneys representing the petition, objectors, and any witnesses. All such participants
are expected to conduct themselves according to these rules in a respectful and professional
manner.
