§ 14-69. Rental/residential association operating license (RRA).

  • (a)

    No person, corporate or business entity shall operate a rental dwelling or dwelling unit or rooming unit unless a valid rental/residential association operating license, referred to as an RRA license, has been issued by the village clerk for the specific location, and a special use permit if required. This licensing requirement shall not apply to group homes governed by the Community Support Systems Act, 405 IlCS 35/1 et seq. specialized living centers act, dealing with the developmentally disabled, or other similar uses governed by state or federal laws, rules or regulations.

    (b)

    No person shall rent a dwelling or dwelling unit unless a current RRA license has been issued by the village clerk for the specific location.
